The protection of your data and your privacy is important to us. On this page we will explain the collection and use of personal data when using our website:

1. Personal data is data that can be assigned to your as a person. When we process an order, we collect information provided by you such as title, first name(s), surname, e-mail, telephone, address, date of birth, training and work experience.

4.  We process and use your personal data to check and process your enquiry or your contract and to provide the services you have requested as well as, as far as legally permissible, for purposes of advertising or market and opinion research, whilst adhering to data protection regulations.

For this purpose, your personal data will be passed on to contract data processors based in Germany and the USA. Furthermore, the data will only be passed on to third parties for the execution of the above-mentioned services, e.g. to selected interested parties or companies within the scope of job placement and postal carriers facilitating the dispatch or shipment.

Your data will not be passed on for any other purpose without our informing you of this.

Compliance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (GDPR) and the German Act for Telemedia Services (TMG) is guaranteed. We limit the transmission of your data to a minimum.

All personal data will be transmitted in encrypted form to prevent misuse of the data by third parties.

5. Information, revocation, objection, cancellation and restriction of use
You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to obtain information about this personal data and information about it, about the purpose of the processing, the duration of the processing, the categories of personal data we process from you, the existence of a right to correct or delete the personal data concerning you or to restrict the processing or a right of objection against this processing and the existence of a right of appeal to a supervisory authority.

You also have the right to have your personal data processed corrected.

You have the right to demand that we delete the personal data concerning you immediately. We are obliged to delete personal data immediately if the processing of the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or if you revoke your consent on which the processing was originally based and there is no other legal basis for processing or if you have lodged an objection to the processing and we cannot prove any legitimate reasons for processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

If personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you may at any time object to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising.

You also have the right to request us to delete the personal data relating to you without delay and we are also obliged to delete personal data without delay if the personal data have been processed unlawfully or if the deletion of the personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation under Union law or the law of the Member States to which we are subject.

You also have the right to request us to delete the personal data concerning you immediately and we are also obliged to delete personal data immediately if the personal data was collected in relation to information society services offered in accordance with Article 8(1), i.e. on the basis of the consent of a minor who is at least 17 years old or, in the case of younger persons, by the consent of the parental authority.

This only applies if there are no overriding legitimate reasons or laws for the processing.

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format.
If you expressly give us your consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing of your personal data based on the consent until revocation.

You have the right to complain to the Hessen State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (supervisory authority) about violations of the Data Protection Act.

The provision of the personal data collected by you in the context of the job enquiry is necessary for the conclusion of a contract.

Please note that the failure to provide the personal data requested in the context of the job enquiry means that we cannot justify the contractual relationship for these reasons.

Our website may contain links to websites of other providers to which this data protection declaration does not extend.

7. Storage of personal data when visiting our website

When you visit our website, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the servers of our website’s hosting service provider that we use. The hosting services for our website are provided by domainfactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Str. 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany, www.df.eu.

When you visit our website, a direct connection to the servers of our web host is established for the duration of your visit. The information concerning the visit of the website is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The aforementioned data will be processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
  • Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • evaluation of system security and stability as well as
  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest results from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device and retrieved by it at a later time. We use cookies to make your visit more user-friendly. We do not use cookies to store personal information or to pass it on to third parties.

There are two types of cookies: permanent and temporary (session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer or mobile device for up to twelve months. Session cookies are temporarily stored and deleted when you close your browser session. We use session cookies to operate the website.

The data processed by cookies is required for the aforementioned purposes in order to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.
